Groups
Groups that run themselves.
Up to 40 people, with roles, permissions and the tools that keep a busy chat in order — every message end-to-end encrypted.

Roles & permissions
Decide who can do what — one switch per action.
- The owner promotes admins, hands the group to someone else, or deletes it for everyone
- Admins add and remove people and change the permissions
- Every change shows up in the chat, so nobody is surprised
Who can…
- Edit name, photo and description
- Send messages
- Add members
- Pin messages
- Start group calls
- Mention everyone
Built in
Everything a busy group needs.
@mentions
Mention one person or everyone at once. Mentions get their own @ badge in the chat list, so they never get lost.
Invite links
One link per group that you can reset any time. Choose whether people join by link, by being added, or both.
Join requests
Turn on approval and admins review everyone who asks to join. They get a notification the moment someone does.
Pins that expire
Pin the plan, the address or the rules for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. They unpin themselves.
Group history
A log of who renamed the group, added or removed people, or changed a permission — and when.
Reply privately
Answer one message in a direct chat with its sender, with the original quoted.
Added only if you allow it
Your privacy settings decide who can add you to a group: everyone, friends, or nobody.
Ownership, handed over
Leaving? Pass the group to another member. Done with it? Delete it for everyone.
Encrypted for every member
Each message is sealed for every member's devices. Someone who joins later can't read what was sent before they joined.
Group calls
When typing isn't enough, call the whole group.
Your conversations, only yours.
Free, in your browser, in a minute. No phone number needed.
